MPOWERD is a Public Benefit Corporation and certified B Corp with a focus towards becoming a leader in sustainable energy consumer products and to positively impact emerging markets with the Luci solar inflatable lantern. MPOWERD is based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Contract position overseeing all areas of D2C marketing, customer service, public relations and channel marketing. Lead global marketing efforts for the young brand while managing the direct-to-consumer channel.
Increased YOY sales on the D2C channel by over 30% in the first 6-months.
Oversight of internal team and external vendors covering all aspects of marketing including brand architecture, content development, social media, media relations, and customer service.
Revamped marketing team and launched two new products while restructuring fulfillment and planning for multiple new products launching in 2019.

Responsible for the consumer division of LifeStraw and all resulting sales and marketing activities in North America, Europe, and South Africa equivalent to over 90% of global brand revenue.
Reported to the General Manager with operational, budget, forecasting, and departmental P&L.
Developed annual marketing, advertising, and communications plans, budgeting nearly $2 M annually.
Owned relationship with 6 distributors, 4 PR agencies, a creative agency, and experiential agency.
Managed North American distributor while expanding to an additional 1,000 new doors in 2016.
Rebuilt the European distribution model resulting in over 300% revenue growth for the EU within 6-months.

Robotic toy company known for Sphero, the robotic ball you control with your phone, along with BB-8 and Lightning McQueen robotic toys developed through a partnership/license with Disney.
Developed/managed the company’s first national TV campaign strategy, contributing to YOY growth of 290% for direct online sales and 160% growth for the company.
Owned the media, print, experiential, agency/vendor relationships, and strategic partnership management/execution including MAKE Media (Maker Faire) and NBC Universal (DEW Tour).

Key role in initial growth of the company, growing to over 1,500 accounts in six months (180%+ monthly).
